you make it sound like you KNOW it works. you can't prove any gains.

Dyno? No. I had 60k miles on my car when I got it done, I knew the car inside and out. There was a very noticeable torque increase. Try and find a faster pump gas only stock turbo car. Youll find one thats gutted and thats it. Tgats proof enough for me and the countless number of people ive helped go faster. Of you dont want to listen, by all means dont.

i did a dyno test and i gained power and torque...its that simple....but due to the cost and sound, it might not be for everyone.

no, sound only gets louder when the wastegate is open, (think about it) aka when you've hit max boost you're set for.

Yes stock turbo. Although I have been playing around with ECU boost control so if you think it spools slow I think that is why.

about how much louder does this make your car, percentage wise? Just a seat of the pants estimate will do... A 150% increase in sound, for example, will be very detrimental to po po situations.

You probably shouldn't be full boost around Police anyway, so this mod shouldn't matter as far as THAT goes. But it will be LOOOUUUD, no doubt about that.

As far as state inspection goes (different states may very) This will be considered an exhaust leak. Screw it though. Before you go it, figure out a way to cap it off and don't hit full boost on the way to the inspection station. And tell the tech not to hit full boost, and explain why. As long as the exhaust is not "leaking" and "capped off" it SHOULD pass. Take off the cap for the ride home and you'll be good.

No idea how you'd "cap" it though

Actually, in all honesty, a tech probably wouldn't even think twice about it, and not know what it was, but who knows.
