I just made 455 WHP on 93 oct w/ the FP Green

I just made 455.7 WHP & 435.9 WTQ @ 5490 rpms on 93 pump gas w/ the FP Green turbo @ 22 psi off the WG. I would like to give much deserved credit to the tuner & installer who is Marco @ Billet design. Our initial pass was 424.8 WHP & 385.1 WTQ @ 5817 rpms, this was with only a basic tune that he did after the install of the turbo & injectors several weeks ago. Then 432.4 WHP & 399.5 @ 5685 rpms, Then 455.7 WHP & 435.9, and our final tune for my aggressive driving & road racing was 429.4 WHP & 409.6 WTQ @ 5515 rpms for a total of 4 pulls. Remember, this was all done on 93 octane, not race fuel! Outside temps were about 80-82 with about 70% humidity.
My mods were as follows: BR intake & tial 50mm BOV, Sgt Blamo AHASD(Anti Hot Air Sucking Device) FP Green turbo w/ HP actuator, port matching & thermal coating, 880 injectors, Evil Megan racing tubular headers(still haven’t cracked!), wrapped w/” heat wrap”, Tanabe 2.75 DP(OMG), custom made 3.5” straight thru exhaust w/4” straight thru muffler(under $600 !), A generic no name brand FMIC (31”x11.75”x3” w/2.5” inlet/outlet) that I picked up for $150 shipped, custom hand fabricated aluminum tubing for hotside & coldside of the FMIC, AEM EMS, WB 255 FP, Buddy Club Racing 272intk/ 280ext cams set straight up(no cam gears),Sun Auto Hyper force ignition system, Carbonetics twin carbon clutch, ROBISPEC custom suspension setup & tuning using KW clubsports, riding on REO-1R’s 235/40/18 on 5 Zigen 18”x8.5”. That about sums it up. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, I’ll re-install my Forge MBC and then well re-tune it w/ race gas so that I can toggle back & forth between. I would wager we should be able to pick up another 50-80 WHP w/ the race fuel tuning @ 25-28 psi.
Remember, I road race this car & drive “***** out”, not ¼ stuff. I’ll post the dyno graphs as soon as we get them scanned.
I wonder what she’ll do in the ¼ ?

I would like to thank Marco @ http://www.billetdesign.com/home.php
For an excellent job installing all parts & tuning my car!

Also Ron @ "All Jap Cars" for supplying the use of the dyno.(he will be having a dyno day on Oct 13th )

People can make a lot more power out of a car when going for an all out tune. If the tune that you plan on daily driving with recorded a lower power number why wouldnt you post that up instead of the numbers it made on a aggressive tune?

If you can't make those numbers safely then there is no point in sharing them honestly. They are great numbers for pump gas but a 36 whp difference between what is "safe" and what isn't is a big diff.

Well, I guess I'll have to ascertain from Marco why he didn't want to stay with the peak numbers. It may have been I had a time constraint due to a business meeting and he wanted to spend more time tweaking it, it probably also had to due with the fact that I'm an extremely aggressive driver and he doesn't want anything to go wrong with my engine if it's not 100% to his liking. I'll post the answer to your question shortly.

I think there is definitely more, as his tunes are very conservative, we'll see. The car is sick in the way it hooks out of the corners! Now I need to add more down force front & rear.

So you made that much power on a Dyno Dynamics??? What is the correction factor on the dyno set to because that is pretty high for the FP on pump gas on that dyno...

Congrats none the less
