Recomended Spark plug gap for 1.5 bar

I know for DSM's its .028 but I remember Shiv saying something like .026 on the EVO's............

Can anyone chime in? I plan on replacing my stockers with another set of stockers this afternoon.... I think I may have fauled one during my dyno tune.

FYI~ The Stealerships want $30 per plug NGK # IGR7AG Iridium or whatever... gheyness..

I ran ..20, do it in some BPR 7ES plugs, they are one stage colder and resist detonation, get them. Cost nothing in comparison. NGK BPR 7ES and gapped to .20 to run 20+PSI

I'm getting the same backfire under the same circumstance, and it's progressively getting worse. Talked to AMS, they recommended the NGK BPR 7ES gapped to .028, which I'll be putting in tomorrow night.

I prefer the NGK coppers, as I Densos seem very fragile to any form of detonation, with their ceramic breaking very easily. Thats an expensive break. So I use NGKs and change them fairly often, as they are comparatively cheap. I normally gap at .028"

ok, gapped my NGK BPR7ES's at about 31 today, car is ******** some ***, man did my stock plugs look nasty, all that running rich from the factory I guess, just realized I totally forgot to apply the antisieze stuff that o'riely gave me to the threads. should I go back and apply that stuff? is it bad to back the plugs out after the copper crush washers have already been compressed? with an aluminum head will I be ok without the antisieze stuff till the next time I do my plugs? thanks for any answers in advance!

Ok to remove and reinstall. I never use antisieze.
1.5 is too much boost on stock turbo even with 93 (which is the minimum octane for that level). You aren't making any more power at that level. 20 psi is a good level for 93 octane with FMIC, exhaust, etc.
.030 is too much gap. .020 is too little. One will cause misfires, etc and the other will not make as much power as you could.
