CBRD Radiator Install...

hey everyone..

here are some pics of our lightweight radiators... being installed in a car we do a small sponsorship on...

cooling the car off...

stock radiator and hose position..

our radiator with fan being mounted..

tabs on backside... (we have a different style with smaller tabs that we use sometimes for cars that see greater vibration and abuse)

installed in the car

relocated neck

you can see that you cant use the stock air inlet piece with this radiator because of the relocated neck. We mainly built this rad to be used with tubular manifolds and where more turbo to radiator clearance is needed.

Superior cooling to stock, slightly larger tanks.... and lighter weight.....

cheers

I think there would be some of us interested in this radiator with the neck in the stock location (raises hand)

I would rather give my money to CBRD than let's say...Koyo

its identical to stock, but is moved slightly further forward to hug the condenser for a sealed fit.

---------------------------

it is a more efficient core, and with larger tanks, holds slightly more coolant/water!

That's pretty sick. Got some more specs on the cooling advantages?

Yes(raises hand).

Is there any advantage for having the neck not in the stock spot?

+1 for more info on it's cooling efficiency vs stock.
