its not a matter of a faulty gauge here thats solinoid is reading wrong..its the fact that the car is running funny...
however if the car was running fine and the gauge is reading wrong..your statement would be 100% true..
thanks for the input nontheless

doubleugly...one more last question...when you say the return line...are you refering to the return from the fuel rail to the regulator or the return from the regulator back to the gas tank?

thanks and your help is very much apprecited..
the pluggage has to be AFTER your tap for the pressure gauge. If your pressure gauge tap comes off the regulator like most setups, then the line between the rail and the fpr is fine.

i tried everything and nothing is working...its getting a little better though...i drove the car for about 40 miles...and i feel that the ecu started learning and compensating (i guess) for the excess fuel..a friend of mine suggested this is due to the bigger intake manifold i just added (ams vsr) and i am still not tuned...
what he is saying kind of makes sense coz after thinking about it for a while the bigger intake manifold drops the set pressure thus causing the ecu to get "confused"...

any insights on this?

i just check...my does not have a ball inside...are you sure all fpr have a ball inside? mine doesnt unless it got lost while installing...

i have the sx performance fuel pressure regulator...
please let me know

thanks
