What? Your grammar makes no sense...... BTW someone on here has a thread saying that they were "bugging" I think ETS to make him a Water to Air IC... look around and you may be able to find it and look into it since they have started making his.....

Yah bad typing sorry. Sometimes i need to minimize the screen a little quick seeing im sitting in my office and occasionally the boss comes strolling through. But anyway on the w-a ic i just wanted to do something different and didnt know why people were using that technology. I see though from this thread and others why people think its just not effective for a dd. But then again im still not sure if my car will see the streets again so maybe ill go for the water to air for the track. Pretty much the only time it sees asphalt.

Gotcha, not trying to flame about the typing just saying it didnt make sense. If your car doesnt see the tarmac everyday and you are looking into doing the W/A IC then go for it. i tried to find the thread for you but no luck I know that it is on here if someone can chime in and throw it on here it will probably give you some good info to make your decision. complex or not in a race car there is no substitute for cold air temp, the colder the air the more power you can and will make. Alot of people tell me they can sub a meth kit for the colder air temp and lower knock but if you think about that cold air along with the meth you can run even more timing and make more power then with just meth.

its pretty common on drag cras, its just not so street oriented and most of us daily our evo's... im not saying you cant have one on a DD, just that most people dont, like a side exit exhaust imo.

i agree with you for drag.. but for road racing, you will not see a liquid/air setup..

otherwise, it works great... and can be very efficient..

speaking of, C&C, i have 12 of the johnson pumps in stock if you need any

WHY? I ran one on my camaro for 6 years, with no problems at all. Going turbo on the Z28, So I just bought a bigger air to water system for my Z28 all around. Yes on a daily driven, emissions passing, turbo'd, air-to-water cooled Z-28. There is no reason why anyone couldn't run one on a daily driven anything. Just make sure you get a water tank where you can drain it and fill up with ice and water for those specail races.

We have installed then in daily drivers as well but we have found that the water tends to take much longer to cool back down to ambient temp then running an air to air. We explain the pro's and con's to our customers and let them decide what they think would suit them best.
