Im just looking into a FP turbo and there are quite a few different possibilites. They say you can change the exhaust side to anything so it thats possible can you take the FP GT3067 and change the exhaust side to fit the stock manifold. I know you can do it with the gt35r.

lol. Its always great to get a straight answer. I was just unsure if it could be done then why not. What can the FP hold for psi maxed out without dropping ? Im looking into a new turbo and i would rather go with the bolt on and have my manifold ported. and ill be going with aem ems as soon as the money comes in that is.

AFAIK, if you wan't to retain stock appearance and use the stock manifold, the EvoGreen turbo is the best choice within the current lineup of FP turbochargers. It can be configured with either of three turbine housing choices(10.5, 9.8, or 9.0).

i was reading up on the housing and from what i got the smaller you go the less boost you can make at high rpms but you make it faster down low with more tq. I want to have a nice daily driver but also i want to be able to put some nice numbers on the dyno and track.

In your mod list by HKS 272 intake cams, are you meaning, HKS 272i/272e cams? Or are you running the stock exhaust cam and an HKS 272 intake cam?

both 272 intakes srry and just the quarter mile no autocross yet my pockets aint nearly full enough for that. srry if my posts seem a little noobish its just im trying to figure out as much as i can. I mainly try and do all my work all my bolt ons i did except for the clutch. I dont have a garage so it makes it a little harder for me im sure you guys know or have known. I know some just not everything. trying to work on that though

You have an unusual combination of current and future mods. The Kansai intake and big bore TB are mostly a benefit in the upper rev range and optimally might beg for a hotter cam set than the HKS 272's. The AEM EMS is gonna help tune in a largish turbo( 3076, 3065, 35R) and hotter cams like the BR 272's. Also, the 1000 c.c. injectors give you a lot of headroom and aren't needed for a stockish turbo like the Green.

You may want to bite the bullet from the outset and go bigger initially. IMO, your mods are overkill for a small frame turbo. There are some excellent, economical kits on the market that use a stock-type cast maniold. Of these, I am partial to the BR 3065 kit. He(Dave Buschur) has some other affordable kits built around the 35R.

As a minimum, I'd say that you won't want to go none smaller than a properly configured 3076. The AMS kits are excellent as are the T.S. housing, 3076 kits available from Full Race. If it was me I'd check out the price on Buschur's 3065 kit. You can even opt to have the 3065 fitted with the new high efficiency, HTA compressor wheel.

Well thank for the real insight. I am definitely opting for a good turbo setup but i want to keep it in my price range. I am definitely going to look into a 30r kit now i heard from everyone that i went overkill but i figured screw it mine as well go big or go home theres room for play at least. I wanted to go with a 35r but reading up here a lot of people say it makes dont make full boost into higher rpms while i want to be able to have quick spool and still make im hoping to hit 450+. I dont know if all my mods are going to be able to support this but i guess thats why cars are a money pit and ill probably be buying the same but different parts.

Your 1000cc inj is overkill even for GT35R!30R hit 450 easily with meth.I suggest you a better camshaft like BF 270 or Cosworth or JUN 264 or GSC S2.

Even though the kit is very pricey and goes against what i said trying to keep it cheap but what about the APEXi IHI RX6R Turbo Kit ? I dont hear much on it but yet i read that a lot of cars in autocross use it.
