DC Sports exhaust manifold cracked

So yea, I bought the DC manifold a while back and all was well until recently I heard an exhaust leak..

I thought it was my exhaust for the longest time, but lo and behold I find that my manifold is cracked.

So...:

1. Does DC Sports still warranty swap these for the 2nd gen version?
1a. Does the 2nd gen version still crack?

2. If not, what are my options? Could I get this repaired and ceramic coated or something so it doesn't crack?

I know that an option is to port/coat the stock manifold, but I'd rather not waste the cash spent on this DC.

Thanks

I think you can get it repaired and I think you can have it re-enforced as well.I guess a lot of people have problems with the DC manifolds cracking so thats why most just coat and port the stock manifold due to it being more durable.I would contact DC in regards to an exchange.

Yea, I think I'm going to contact DC since the vendor I bought this piece from on here is NOT RESPONDING...

I will post his name soon if he doesn't make good on customer service.

Contact DC. The vendor you bought it from didn't make it.
DC did. If there is a form of manufacturer warranty, it is provided by the manufacturer.

Its also Sunday and not everyone is open on Sunday. We aren't for ex.

If it all comes to nothing, and you want something that won't crack give us a call.

How long did it last?
-just curious-

Yeah, I realize the vendor didn't make it. I at least want a response however. Being ignored means I will never buy from that vendor again, regardless if it's their problem or not. That's just not good business.

As for the manifold, in terms of time, it lasted 17 months. In terms of miles/track days, 5000 miles/6 track days.

Just out of curiosity, what do you have that won't crack and will make power?

I had a DC manifold on my car for around 45000 miles until it cracked... in 3 different places. I called DC and they said they have a new designed manifold coming out and when its ready they will send out a new one... yeah that was a year ago... still nothing. Dont hold your breath, they are full of sh*t

Something that won't crack? Ported stocker?

But seriously, what do you mean by something that won't crack?

What did you end up doing with your DC?

Did you get another manifold?

I used to be a DC-Sports dealer and after I sold 4 of them and 3 cracked in the same place I choose not to sell DC-Sports products anymore cause they can't seem to stand behind their product. So pretty much they told me to get f**ked when I called for replacements. Same story they told me a year ago they were making a new batch... yea right.

Yeah at the time I was extremely pissed. They produce a manifold that is FAULTY in design. They ALL were cracking at the divider. Mine did, just like some other guys on this forum. Mine cracked in 2 other places too!

You call them, they wont refund you money and they wont give you a replacement. WOW, great customer service.

Well I just called them, they emailed me some form to fill out. I'm supposed to fill it out and send it back with a copy of the invoice. The warranty was stated that it was only 1 year.

We'll see how this goes. If they deny me, maybe I'll call the BBB. This is obviously a widespread problem selling faulty products. It's border-line theft.

We offer a SBR SS stocker style manifold as well. But we wil actually honor our year warranty. Its a nice piece.

For those moving away from the stock flange, to a T3. I have the HAFE cast SS manifolds. These just don't crack.

PM me if you are interested. I will work you out good pricing in an effort to make up for your troubles.
