I need to know what the demensions are for the clutch stop that Tilton sends you. I built my own but I'm curius what they send you. Anybody having problems with their Tilton clutch.
I had one with my kit, but didnt use it. It was wierd how the clutch fit. The clutch without the stop, met the specifications that tilton reccomends with it.
You can all Tilton and ask the tech dept. They helped me ALOT.

(I'm assuming that all Tilton stops are the same). On mine, the six sided "body" of the stop is 1.5" long, drilled and tapped at both ends. The stop head has a screw that threads into the "upper" end of the body where it is locked with a lock nut. The total length (when received from Tilton) is about 2", but it is adjustable up and down somewhat from there.

Thanks guys, the stop I built is 1 5/8" wide and I mounted it in the stock location. I went by their instructions on how to measure it and I forgot a step. You are supposed to have the car in the air and running engage the clutch untill you can get it gear, then let it out then reengage it untill there is no movement with the tires and then add 3/8" to that and thats it! I did it while on the ground and with the resistance of the tires I think I'm alittle off... I'll re-do it tonight and hopefully get better results. Thanks again
