Evo 9 head bolts and head gasket on evo 8
thats a load of crap because i have had both engine with the head off right next to me and its not going to work, they probably sent you a evo8 gasket instead of a 9 because they Def look different. go look on ams website under that head gasket they hvae pics.

The part number that starts with MN is evo8. The evo 8 gasket pictured on AMS website is composite gasket from DSM 4g63. And those gaskets will fit the late 4g63 but the small water holes and big water holes are reversed since the head is reversed. The larger holes are to help cool the exhuast side of the head which needs more cooling. So it will work, but cooling distribution is far from ideal. I wouldnt do it.

You are a waste of posting space. You say you have the two heads off right there and they are not going to interchange. Then you post a link to AMS for your proof. And the links dont have the correct pics posted. Very funny. Would you like me to take some pics of them on top of a block?
