tranny and transfer case oil change after break in?
Manual transaxel and Trasfer oil - change after break in period?
Is it a good idea to change the Manual transaxle fluid and the Transfer Oil after the break in period? If so, is it ok to use Mobil 1 synthetic 75-90w for both? Or should I stick with what the
manual says?

I contacted Red Line regarding the EVO, they recommended there MT90 for the transaxle and there 75-90W for the transfer case and rear differential. I just replaced all of these today (8700 miles on the odometer), it took 4 quarts for the transaxel and a 1/2 quart of 75-90 for the transfer case and 1/2 quart for the rear diff. I also put there 10-30 motor oil in the engine, there is a noticable improvement in shifting and drivability.
One note of caution if you do your own fluid change, the transaxle drain is on the side, when you remove the plug it shoots out pretty far so make sure your catch pan is adjusted accordingly.
This is my first time using Red Line, after doing some research regarding oils it apparently is one of the best base synthetics and has additives that are second to none. It's pricey but considering the car and the way I use it (road courses/like I stole it) it's probably money well spent. I believe Red Line reccomends waiting till at least 3000 miles before you switch there oils.

I used Mobil One 75W-90 in both the tranny and the front transaxle @ 4000 miles... It meets the specs for both so I went with it. The rear transaxle seems to require Mitus specific fluid, I did not change that one yet.
On another note I tried Mobil One15W-50 this past oil change to see how that acts.
