I've always wanted those cheesy but very beautiful Mine's decal all over my car, but i want it to be legit, so...
Is it technically possible to slap a Mine's VX-Rom made for the J-spec Evo into a foreign market Evo? Was it done for any UK Evos? Any info or references would help alot! Thanx!

 

Sure I don't see why not. I exchanged some e-mails from Shin at Prospec and he didn't forsee any problems. He was more worried about the exchange of the original ECU. If it would be the same as the Euro or Jspec one. I'm sure it will be, but just be reprogrammed.

I will probably do the same thing with my Evo, but I will probably wait and get their HKS GT2835 turbine package with the specially tuned VX-Rom

i am already running a mine's ecu on my car, would like a progammable one though.

zeroize, out of curiosity, why would you want to get a mine's ecu just so that you can put stickers on your car? kind of like the tail wagging the dog isn't it?

 

3171: which market are you in? and dun worry, yeah i sounded a bit too excited bout the decals, but ofcourse that all came after wanting the gut... man thinking about it... haha yeah it did sounded like i'm getting the ecu just to put stickers on... heheh...
