Quick Cam install & Tune Question

Gonna have some 272 cams installed.

1. Do I need larger injectors or are the stockers fine?

2. I have to drive the car about 20 miles after the cams are installed to get it on the dyno for the tune is that ok if I drive like a grandma?

Thanks for the help.

its more personal preference if u have stock (boost levels? race gas? meth?)

ill tell you MY personal mod path.... once my cams go in, ill start running mix 50% 93/c16 and i'll step up the injectors only one step maybe

Just the cost issue right now. Considering the E85 tune. So not real sure of every thing I'm gonna do yet. CAMs for sure. Doing the clutch at the same time too so my car budget is blown for the month. Just want to mnake sure that I will not have any fuel issues on the stock injectors with the 272's... Should I be ok?

I think you will atleast need an upgraded pump.

Just like what '' mad_VIII" stated, you will definatley need an upgraded fuel pump. There only about 80-95 bucks shipped! This is necessary for you, if you want a tou run a lil leaner, and have bit more agressive tune. Plus, it is cheap

Second, is no you will NOT need to up-grade you injectors. I have been running 272 on my car for about 18,000 miles with the 272's on on stock injectors. If you choose too, then do so, but is isn't necessary!

Third is i drove from my staion in mid New Jersey to Conneticut without a reflash for the cam up-grade since my tunner works up there. As previously stated, dont get on your car, and rev it. Just take it easy on your way there and you will be fine! Hope this helps!
