Turbo XS Hard Pipe Kit question

Is anyone using an intercooler pipng kit made by Turbo XS? I'd like to upgrade my intercooler piping while retaining my OEM battery and Lancershop has this new item and it says it will work with the stock battery. Looking for feedback from anyone that may have this item. Its not even listed in Turboxs.com which makes me feel wonder about the product.

Any pipe kit retaining the stock battery will be somewhat restrictive. With the piping you want the straightest flow with the least amount of bends. Thats why all the best piping kits(buschur, ams, xs engineering, rmr) require a mini-battery or relocation to the trunk.

how is this kit with the battery? I was thinking of getting the piping, battery, and intercooler come springtime. How is the battery as far as start up and other things related to running a min-battery?

Ultimate racing and ETS both have UICP solutions which will allow you to retain the stock battery. TurboXS sold a few hundred people around here utec's for their Evo's at ~1K a pop and the support as far as software upgrades go has been non existent, so please don't support them by purchasing their product.

Thanks, it is a custom. My own design. Here are the details on what I did.

A local place made 10 or 12 for me. I sold them all except for the one I have and a backup one.

That's just sad you don't have any for sale.

Yeah, I wish I did. It was a challenge with a price around $140 shipped, which barely covered the cost. It would have been nice if some of the big aftermarket guys had put a little more thought in theirs.
