et me tell you my friend juans car is frightening compared to mine...he traps 130mph...gt35r 35psi on meth plus 100 octane..

he already broke his 6speed is on a 5 speed now...

a 10 sec Evo is no joke...

I wasn't trying to confirm or deny your statement, just to compare our 61mm kit to the spool time experienced by most 2.0L EVOs using 35Rs. We are obviously very pleased with the combination of our manifold/o2 design in conjunction with the Precision turbochargers and I was just showing the video verdict

slayer I think you have been misled. The green is an awesome turbo for the street. I will even say I personally think it is better for the street compared to the Gt35. I know im going on a limb here but I would be willing to bet you have never drivin an evo with the green turbo. Granted my car may not quite be the norm of most of the greens out there but it definately shows the potential of this turbo. heck im running as fast or faster than alot of the 35r's at the track.

this is true... i have ridden in a friends green with meth and it has SSOOOOOO much torque... but what makes a 35r so much fun is how it just keeps pulling and pulling and pulling up top... almost like it would keep pulling past 13k if you could go that far

thanks for the insight qamebred26. I do plan on geting a shep tran i was just going to leave tht suspension stock or maybe get tein coilovers. well maybe i should not shoot for 10s then. All i want is to be able to take the car to the track and get good numbers and be able to use it on the street.

okIX yea i don't think ur car is normal. But no i have not and maybe i will try too before i make my choice. But i like ur numbers both 1/4 mile and hp. But i thnk ur turbo is at its limit. And i don't want to buy the green just to have to up grade in a year or so. So i figure go with a 35R/2.3storker/meth and that way i will have it tuned way down for street use. But down the road when i want more i will have it tuned more aggressively for more power

Personally I was trying to decide between a 14b and a GT42 myself.

Hey so what do u guys think of a 57 or 58 trim i think that will give me the power i want and i have been told that it shoud spool on a 2.3 around mid 3000. Does any one run this kind of set up 57trim/2.3/meth. This might fit me better i think this will give me good power plus good street use what do u guys think?

With the combination of a 2.3 and methanol, either one of those two turbos would give you tremendous low end spool and a very strong powerband. In my honest opinion though, with the 2.3 and meth, I would choose the 58mm over the 57mm to get even more power on the top end.

You would never regret the Green. If you're on the street, you'll very rarely get to see the full potential of the 35R. There is so much power under the curve on the Green, that extreme quickness is the order of the day. On the street, the 35R will be looking at the taillights of a well tuned and well driven Green, most of the time. The green is also capable of 130 mph traps and 10.8's (if not 10.5's soon). In stop light to stop light driving, the 20G-LT will get the job done. It does take the right fuel, the right tune and a good driver, but the fun factor is way up there. I know, because OKIX let's me drive it once in a while.

The biggest question is, will FP release a "red" and when will they? I dont want to spend the $ on the green just to have the red come out and be way better right after I buy one

The problem is, there will ALWAYS be something better, or bigger to move to. When I see what I want, I buy it. Then, when something better comes along, I upgrade. If you never build it, then it will never exist. Too much time is lost, waiting for that next best thing. Get it now, have fun, and always be willing to upgrade when the right thing comes along. The way to keep the upgrades under control is to set an initial goal and decide what it will take to reach that goal. When the goal is met, then set another one and decide what needs to change to reach the new goal. Our goal with OKIX's car was 10.80's and we made it. Now, with the same turbo, we have a new goal of 10.5's. We may not make it, but we're sure having fun trying.

9sec9 what do u think of a 58trim. I just think that if i get the green i would max it out. So i was looking at 35R but i hear that the 58 trim will give me mid 3000 spool and it will give me good power. I really want 400-500whp i know don't get cought up on the numbers. But if i get those numbers she should pull like i want her too.thanks for all the comments guys

A 58mm will hit full boost in the very low 4000RPM range on a 2.0L and mid 3000s on a 2.3L like you were mentioning you might build. That turbo is capable of ~530whp at full tilt but is still a very good pump fuel performer. I run our T3 58mm kit on my personal car and couldn't be happier
