Injector Fitment

Hi,
I am installing my green turbo that i bought from buschur with 680cc injectors and im running into a problem. The PRECISION 680cc injectors i bought are not the same size (height to be exact) as the stock ones. I'm not sure if this is normal, but the garage im installing them at told me they won't fit 100%.

I'm pretty sure the PRECISION 680cc injectors i got for my evo green from buschur are correct as i don't think they wouldn't know which one to use.

So did i get sent the wrong ones by mistake? or is it normal that they are not exactly the same size?

Ok i just spoke to buschur racing .. and they confirmed that the injector is a little longer then stock and it shouldn't be a problem. The garage however refuses to install them saying it can't be done..

i don't know what to do here..is there something im missing out? I'm looking at the DIY and been searching for a while ..

It is a very easy DIY install. 4 bolts, 2 10mm's for the fuel supply line, and 2 12mm's that hold the rail down. then it is just a straight swap.

It's a VERY easy diy...it takes about 10 mins. All you do is unbolt the fuel rail, you can even keep the fuel line attached like I did, and then just swap injectors. If the shop can't do it, it must be a pretty retarded shop.

well to be honest it's the dealer lol

Thing is they are afraid to install it because they say they are NOT the same size .. the aftermarket ones are a little longer. which is worrying them.

Buschur reassured me that they are a little longer but shouldnt be a problem. Just wondering if everyones is a little longer..the dealer says they wont FIT .. which is strange..

ive got injectors. i installed them myself and had no problems. mine werent exactly the same size either so i called and questioned them and was told theres no worries it would work so i went ahead and installed them and have had no problems what so ever. so i say go ahead and DIY and dont worry about the dealer. theyre apparently a bunch of tards. besides youll save money doing it yourself. money you could use to buy something else for your car.
