no, those are the stock range....

the denso ikh24.

just remember, they dont come gapped for our cars so you have to gap them. Yes they are iridium, but they can be gapped... you just have to use extreme care. I bought a feeler gauge from autozone that has a spark plug gapper inside the feeler gauge as well.

order from sparkplugs.com, they ship fast and the prices arent too bad either

Go back to stock. I use them and have no problem making power with it.

bigric09,

sparkplugs.com is actually where i bought the plugs for my STI and they have some solid service! Also, the IKH22's i bought for my STI can pre-gapped, are you sure the IKH24's don't also come pre-gapped?

So .024 should be a solid gap?

Yes, wrong plugs for your application. Car runs like crap with VIII plugs as they are not long enough.

So with the delicate nature of gapping the stockers, I am not about to have 40 dollars plugs end up costing me a 5K motor...

With that said, what gap do you guys recommend for TBE, MBC, Intake, Tune, LICP, UICP and ETS front mount?

I put the stockers in and gapped them to .22 at the suggestion of Mellon but I didn't realize how delicate they are to gap...

gapping to .022 is only recommended for the copper EVO 8 replacement plugs in raised boost applications, not for Iridium stock EVO9 plugs.

Wicked, if I mistakenly told you to gap to .022 knowing that you had and IX with iridium I'll gladly buy the plugs for you. Let me know I don't recall having the conversation.

maybe you read where I was responding to someone with an EVO8 though
