intake manifold removal

finally got the manifold off!! now, it is off to ppi for coating and porting; i will do a write up of how to install, now that i know what to expect;

Doing this is a huge PITA. But if you take out the passenger side axle it makes it a lot easier to get to the bolts that lie underneath the manifold. I did it this way because I had just put my engine back into the car and didnt have the axle back in yet. I dont even know how your supposed to get a torque wrench up in there. I just tightened them as hard as I could down there and used a torque wrench for the top bolts. I ALWAYS tighten things down to spec but I couldnt on those few bolts underneath.

holy **** is this a ****ing task. I think the the best way to cope with this install is to throw a wrench through a few windows what a pita. I dont suggest anyone to do this.....ever. Mitch thanks for the help. Tomorrow will be much easier, I hope
Thats the way I did it. BUT its kind of hard to do with the intake manifold still on. you also have a few brackets that you have to worry about. one holds the intake manifold to the block. its hard to get to. I had to take the passenger's side axle out just to get to it
