Save 300$ Read this!.

All of you whom dipsticks are starting to come out. I suggest you buy new ones or get the simple spring fix that BR sells.

I usually zip tie mine but the other night i cut the only ziptie i had to check my oil before a race.

Anyway. Oil shot out.. down on my alternator and killed the *****.

So 300dollars for a new one from mitsu. Wish i had gotten that 5$ spring that you can reuse and reuse.

His point was spend $5 for the spring to keep you dip-stick from popping out, not where to buy an alternator.

Damn bro had one I would have sold for way less than three bills.

My point always look on CL, egay, and evom.net before buying something from the stealership.

I like to keep records of proper service for my car. I needed to order a wheel bearing also.

I had my friend from acura order it. It was less than 300 $ but it would cost a non dealer 280 to get one.

I'm not so pissed about what i paid for the alternator. I mean i did buy a OEM bran new one. I'm pissed i didn't buy that 5$ spring to keep the dipstick down.

wow, this is the first time I've heard of this happening. What would cause the dipstick to pop out? Definitely sounds like the $5 spring is well worth it though.
