Their rods are made in China like Eagle, Scat and others.

If you're looking to cut costs, do so on parts that are NOT internal engine parts. In other words, if a cheap downpipe cracks it's not a big deal. If a cheap connecting rod breaks (or bolt fails)...BIG DEAL!

 

Do you think Helix-rods are not a good deal?
Which rods would you suggest which costs nearly the same (+-200)?!

 

You don't wanna skimp on internal engine parts. I have a Helix tp and cb and freaking love it! I've had it on both my Evos.

Had a friend who got the injectors and those were good too. Not too sure about the cams.

 

Don't go cheap on internal parts. But, I had the Helix V2 cams and they held up really well and made good power.

 

I can't vouch for the rods, and I'm probably not going to try them, but I do have the cams, downpipe, and test pipe.

I made more power on my Helix cams than other guys using HKS cams.

 

I didn't even know they made rods...but if you are broke I think the cheapest and still one of the best rods out there is eagle
