EVO Green vs GT3071R
I would go with the Full-Race TS 3071R. It will be better all around! More power potential and they have some of the best quality parts out there. Also with the TS the spool will be real nice!!! The Green is a great turbo. The people with greens that are putting down the kind of power you are wanting have basically every susporting mod on there car. You can make the same if not more power out of the GT30 on pump with less susporting mods. Then if you put all the susporting mods on the car and did a race gas tune there would be no comparison!
Spec of car is as follows:
Tomei 270 Cams Inlet and Exhaust
Piper Uprated Valve Springs & retainers
EVO400 Lash Adjusters
Tomei Cam Gears
EVO400 3" Downpipe and Turbo Elbow
Fujitsubo 3" Cat Back Exhaust
3"DeCat Pipe
10.5T Turbo Housing
Walbro Fuel Pump
AMS Intercooler Hard Pipe Kit
EVO 400 4" Power Filter Kit
Apexi AVCR
Apexi Power FC D-Jero
So green is a good option then??
Im alos adding a Intercooler core, set of injectors FP Regulator, and also uprating the conrods and pistons, running at 2bar boost

I think the Green is an excellent option. I am currently running at GT3540R kit, and am actually thinking about selling it for a green. I'm sick of these stock 9 turbo cars pulling out 3-4 cars from the get-go and having to play catch-up. I mainly run pump gas as-is, so I'm not exactly taking full advantage of the 35R. I believe I will be much happier with a faster spooling turbo, that is going to make about the same power as a 35R will in it's pump gas range (22-24psi). Just my 2 cents

I totally feel u on this. Except in my case...we have 110 readily available at the pump
so i decided the FP3065 over the green. Plus I wanted over 500whp. U may want to consider alchy/meth. Going larger you usually have to give up something, like spool & low-mid range power. But up top it pays off. Of course smaller turbos will spool up faster but they run out of breath up top which is where the larger ones take over, that's just the nature of the beast. I personally decided to give up my quick spool for more peak hp. Being in a FP powered car i really loved the quick spool and the throw-u-back-torque but it would taper off too quick leaving me wanting more. Many others may think it's the best street turbo out. It's all personal preference and where YOU want your power to be.
I guess the ultimate street setup would be a IX with a twin-scroll HTA 35R. David Buschur just made over 700whp w/his 35R!
.
I think the Green would be a very nice setup... we have one customer Evo9 that pushed 420wtqe/375whp on 104 octane unleaded on 32psi with similar mods as your car + the Mynes tubular stock replacement manifold. That car pulled like a monster and it beat cars with bigger turbo kits (50 trim and 3076). The fastest that car has ran was 11.81 at 118mph in the 1/4 mile and it's utilizing the MoTeC M800 ecu.
With the Green, i'm sure you can get closer to the 450whp mark... and that would be an awesome car on the tracks and streets.
cheers.

The Green is the best way to go for street driving with occasional drag use. The bottom end is nearly identical for response when compared to stock, but kicks tail SHORTLY thereafter. I notice no drop off through the gears and it really likes 101 +meth injection. My son's makes over 518 horsepower based on et/mph. Dyno'd 425 whp/481 wtq on Mustang Dyno. The torque is peaked at 4100 rpm. That's 481 wtq at 4100 for street use! You'll never regret going Green.
The 20G-LT, aka Green, is a nice upgrade,
.
It is a good street turbo. Like Curt Brown once put it before any of us had it: "I dear the fool who runs me from a dig with this turbo".

i like the midrange and top end power so..ill sacrafice a little bottom end..besides who the hell is gonna run our cars from a dig? people down here like to run from 1st and 2nd rolls..and yes i know its sad because i believe that a real race is from a dig..
Have you had this Turbo in your car to make this opinion?
I would like to hear what were your disappintments. I am sure it will help others make more of an intelligent choice when shoping for it.
Thanks.
I have no regrets so far on my 20GLT (Green) purchase. It made the power adverticed, it made the numbers at the track, full weight as expected, it spools like stock as described. I just don't see how it did not do good for you. My set-up is really basic!
Anyhow, that is my shortcut review,
