The green will make more tq over the 3071r but the 3071r will make more HP up top.
They are very similar is size but that's really the big difference.

The above comparison is a FP 3071r with BR cast manifold vs green both 93 oct pump gas no meth.

If you want want more power on you will want to look at a 3076 or even a hybrid 3065 but they take a little longer to spool up respectivly.

damn it's so hard to decide when everyone has a different opinion. I've been trying to decide on which turbo myself. I've been in my friends car with his 50trim and I loved it. I wanted to be different and get a Twin Scroll 30r from FullRace but the green just sounds like a killer bang for the buck. wish I could drive each turbo..hehe. oh well.

i think it all depends on the complete setup along with tune. but for a street car the green if done right will outdo the 3071 big time on the street. i mean cruising on the freeway 5th gear, 70mph, floor it and have 500 WTQ.. not many people can beat you if you didnt even downshift lol.

i cant comment on a gt30 series turbo, but i do have a fp-grn in my car.....

the fp-grn gives you more power with very little loss down low......i have less tq @ 3,500 revs...compared to a tme turbo, but that is it. on the freeway, when i tip-into the throttle, power is there...not sure if that is the same with a gt30 variant....i have only read that people have to downshift with the gt30 type turbo to get around people on a 2.0L?!?

i gained over 34whp with my grn on 91oct, based on aem logs.

So many turbo options to decide from. I want a sick DD and theres just so many options. I dont mind the lag of a 35R Im not scared to down shift. But then again the spool and torque from a green sound great to. And then theres right in the middle the 30R and 3065R such a hard decision.

Ohh yah ive been following that one as much as possible. I want to really save up and my first choice is a Mynes Top Mount TS HTA 35R set-up. But ive also been looking into a Forced Inductions BB Borg Warner ETT series.

The 30R is better for more than one reason.. But I would waste my time with one unless it was a GT3076. It will make more power then the green.. It spools faster in-between shifts and it will last longer because its a ball bearing turbo. Good luck keeping that green alive if you as spinning 30psi. The green is a great cheaper alternative to a 30R kit.. It's also great for street racers because it looks stock. It really going to depend on your goals to make a choose witch is the better turbo for you. Because the are both very good turbos. Just in different ways.

Ahhh, i remember when i had to make that same decision. But it all comes down to where u want your power. Down low/quick spool/torquey but tapering off up top or up top/laggier/higher peak hp/hold power to redline. Between your two choices the Green is a much more cost effective solution, but if u wouldn't mind a 35R like u said u might want to look into Buschurs HTA setup or better yet a HTA 3065 I'm currently running the FP3065 and i luv it, it spools very closely to a 3076 but makes about the same hp as the 35R up until about 30psi. On a HTA it would be quite ruthless, i think it's the best "middle weight" turbo. Good luck on your decision.

There used to be. May be a few floating around.

I am in the same boat as you man.

The Green on pump gas is ****ty from what ive read. On meth it can reach around 425whp realistically. Im sure alot more if you wanted to run even more meth. Low end torque is flat amazing...

The GT30R doesnt give you that low end torque, but will give you 425 on pump gas. I prefer pump gas over using meth for safety reasons, but the GT30 on meth is capable of upwards of 500whp.

I cant make a decision myself lol.
