Search on here, you'll find quite a few posts. Most of them say to just keep prying and it will come off or unbolt the flywheel one bolt at a time while the clutch is still on.

In order to pop the TOB off you need to press the release collar then pry on the fork, it should pop off fairly easy.... It's all in the technique!

THERE IS NO PRYING NEEDED . STOP PRYING. get off your back and walk to the brand new clutch. now call the clucth company and ask for tech support. they will walk you through it step by step. it takes five seconds and is very easy. once you see how it is done lay on your back and try again. its good to have an extra hand and make sure the tranny is in place and the bolts are tight. you will slap yourself once you see how easy it really is. try it on the new one. DONT PRY ON ANYTHING

my friend and I have run into many that will not pop off...usually its on the clutches that are fried..we have had to undo the pressure plate bolts one by one..and No the tranny will not drop with out the TB popping off.

I hope that this will be of use to you. The picture on Evomoto is OK, but what I found to be the easy way to do this was not well explained, at least to me.

The spring clip removal requires that you put your screwdriver on the TOB side of the spring retention clip. Wedge it between the spring collar and the body of the TOB/clutch fork. Then push the clutch fork towards the pressure plate as far as it will go. While holding pressure on the clutch fork, twist the screwdriver to slowly force the clutch fork and TOB back away from the pressure plate, while maintaining some pressure holding the clutch fork. That will push the retention clip out of the TOB, leaving it in the pressure plate. Do not push the clutch fork back towards the pressure plate again after you get it released, or it will re-engage and you'll have to release the spring retainer again.

Good luck.
