How do these hold up, underhood?

Not to be negative, but on my tire machines I used to have, over time we'd have the quick discon lines burst over time....of course, we're talking 160psi versus 50psi...........

Anyways, just curious. It looks much better to use these however....really nice

Can't wait to see your results! Glad to see someone on these forums is going to try this newer turbo out

Half the price of a Garrett gt4294r and flows just as well.. can't beat that!

Some more info:

Compare the maps of both turbochargers.
Here is the S372 and the Gt4294R.

The S372 flows 94lbs a minute and the gt4294 flows 84lbs a minute. Also look how much higher the S372 goes in the map. It has been flowed up to 5.0 p/r where the G only goes to 4.0.

And side by side with the Garrett gt4294r .. Note that the S372 has the standard cover on.

garrett on left, S372 on right

Here is a pic of all 3 covers. The one on the left is the R cover and the middle is the standard cover and the right is the S cover for tight engine bays

Just so you know the size of the turbo it weighs 46 lbs.

its not touching but its close.. either way neither the block or tranny moves in the direction to make them touch.. we do need to make a brace though before we run the car.. the turbo/manifold/wastegate is pretty heavy..

bioxide- thanks for the pics.. yeah the standard cover as the same as the 42r.. bullseye is saying that the race cover out spools and flows more than the standard cover. with the 3" outlet it spools better compared to 3.5 which i beleive is the standard cover outlet.. only 1 way to find out.. We have 2 rear housings also.. a .90 and 1.10.. i am going to try to compare the both of them..

1 thing you will see on our dyno sheet which alot of guys dont offer is the boost reference..there will be no BS on what boost pressure it made what HP as at.. well be able to document where it makes full boost..
