How much more whp using meth?
Im looking to get possibly meth as my next mod. I think I should take everyones advice, and max out my current 9.8 hotside turbo before switching out to a larger GT30 setup later next year. With all the mods listed in my sig, how much whp gain am I looking at? Will be using 93 octane gas.

Question about meth injection...
Lets say that you have tuned your car to have zero knock @ 23psi boost... If you raise the boost to 25psi you get knock... What nozzle and kit would you need to use in order to supress knock?
In other words, could you use meth as a knock suppresant and have any whp gains just from the boost raise? I would assume that you have to use a small nozzle which makes meth to last longer and the tune is not to the edge of destruction...

On my 50 Trim EVO 8 I made 410 AWHP w/o meth with just 21-22 PSI and 93 octane gas...... with the meth turned on and boost turned up to 28-29 PSI, I made 86 More horse to the wheel....

Instead of overworking the 9.8 turbo at a minimum just do the 10.5 hotside. With the cams you have you should see a nice handsome increase in power across the entire power band.
The mod is super easy to install and huge bang for buck with NO RISK of bad things happening. Even if you put alchy on your current setup you still aren't going to see the airflow that you need up top with that 9.8 hotside.
The 10.5 is a big bang mod. Add in the SS O2 housing with no additional work and you'll pick up even bigger power.

the gains with meth for the stock turbo will be good. you'll see huge torque increase, like 40-50ftlb. that is of course assuming you spike the boost pretty high (like 30psi). but because the stock turbo runs out of steam the HP gains up top are not as significant. like what ttp said, around 25-30whp.
when you drop in a 30r though, the meth improvement will be huge, like 60-80whp increase. so the meth is a good mod because it will help you out big time if you go to a big turbo, yet still be a blast to drive with the stock turbo.

Yeah I was thinking of doing meth on the 9.8 (Going with the Aquamist HFS-1 kit), and then afterwards saving up some cash a few months later & getting the 10.5 hotside and o2 housing at the same time. I want a very conservative tune and looking to turn the boost up to 27/28 max since its so tiny.
Then later next year, probably after summer ill be looking into the GT30R kit.
