Let's just say that if one experiences failure of a part from either of these producers, it's rarely the fault of the part.

Crower/Wiseco combo here. They've been proven to hold up in many high HP cars as well as daily drivers.

Was Eagle/Wiseco now Crower/Wiseco with an Eagle crank.

I am swapping out Clevite bearings for Calico Coated ones.

Bearings and Crank should be addressed too, maybe rod bolts See what goes and what doesnt?

Please do not consider money in your suggestion. Maximum reliability is my primary concern.

My options for pistons are:
-JE
-CP

My options for the rods are:
-Manley I-beam turbo tuff
-Crower Rods
-Carrillo H-beam

Do not feel limited to my options, please feel free to suggest something else if need be

Thanks in advance

If you're going to be pretty much replacing the entire rotating assy. Do a 2.3L. I promise you will thank me later.

I would buy a set for Cosworth pistons/rings/rods... of course they are like 2500 dollars so most of them wouldn't do it...

If i wanted to stay on a "normal" price range i would either do a numerous times proven set from either Buschur or AMS (oliver rods...)

Buschur doesn't use oliver rods.

AMS reccomends Oliver Rods and Ross pistons in everything but a budget build(eagles) or an all out drag car which they reccomend the Groden's.

Rod's are not held to rev limits, valve springs are/ rotating assemblies are.
