I'm pretty sure that won't work man. I "think" it would just spin the heck out of the transfer case, and the wheels wouldn't move

well for one the passenger size axle goes into the xfer case so you cant run without one. If you have no driveshaft the fluid would come out and you cant just plug it unless you have a "welded" or locked center diff which you wont or you wont move. So, no you cant.

No it will not work cause the differential uses fluid from the tranny. There is an oil tube that goes from the tranny to the t-case. Which if you have seen your tranny off your car there is a small rubber o-ring between the two. Why would you wanna do that anyways????

Your in for a mess of trouble, Thats exsactly why I sold my 3gen for a evo lol :P

Im sure if you installed the tranny/transfercase you can get some way to block off the driveshafts to the rear for temp but finding something to block it off would be the problem.

YAY 3rd gen eclipse is the best, best engine, best drive train and awesome looks...... LOL LOL LOL

dude seriously saveyourself the money and hassle and time spent and leave the 3g as a daily driver dude. ITs a slow crap mobile mitsu spat out of their behinds. its not meant to be a high performance car. also it wont work. If you knew more about the drivetrain it doesnt make any sense.

HA, I have a stratus, with the same engine/tranny ect as the 3g eclipse. I turbo'd the stock engine, and now have a blown motor (detonated) until I get my internals in the mail.

It will never be as fast as anyone who owns one wants it to be, but it can still be improved for someone who owes too much to trade it in. BTW, I went from dynoing 103hp stock to 215hp after the turbo. We do have the 4g64 bottom end and with a DOHC swap, we could be putting down the power, traction limited.
