What are you doing with the old setup if you don't mind me asking? With the sneak peak of the changes I think things should get pretty exciting.

The Tial has to be dyno'd before I'll consider selling it at all, if it does work and makes more power than the old set up then we'll consider making a header kit for it but it would be months down the road.

A/R on the Tial is .82 and the turbine housing I was running was a .82.

The old Full Race header is sold to another customer already. I've been wanting to take it off and do something custom for myself all year.

As soon as I get another T3 collector put together I'll be starting a second header to mount it with this same basic design.

tien, yep, "just another manifold experiment" if that's how you want to look at it. I look at it as a constant quest to improve.

vwjeff, haha, it's was there for a long time wasn't it?! I was in a hurry to change the header but not the turbine housing. This was the easier of the two headers to build so I did it first. We can build you something completely custom if that's what you want when the time comes, just takes a lot of time and the cost is rough because of it. Whatever you want though buddy.

How did your previous Full Race header compare to what you sell with your turbo kits? Why didn't you run your own header on your personal car before.

David,
If I am understand this correctly, you are doing a manifold for the Tial housing and for the standard GT35R turbine housing using similar runner and wastegate placement?

Do you plan on using the same downpipe and charge piping between both setups?

Looks very similar to the older hotrod class manifolds. Only real difference is pointing the turbo straight ahead to get cool air and make the downpipe nice and straight.

Cool setup, can't wait to see how it works out for you. You never cease to amaze me on the capabilities of the GT35R and hybrids of it.

That's correct. Tial housing first, then the same basic design for a new T3 housing. The turbo won't face forward, this is a street car and I need to keep an air cleaner on it. Instead of the air intake running in front of the radiator like it use to, now it is going to run to the passenger side wheel well in a straight shot with no bends.
