So i have my car threw the P0234 code(Turbocharger Wastegate System Malfunction) my WGA has a dent and when i pull on 3rd, 4th and 5th gear i hear a thud around 4k-5k and my car loses acceleration for a second and it'll accelerate again.it stop for a week and when i tried it pull on 3rd last night it happened again(it was a cold night) anyone know if thats the problem b/c i'm thinking of replacing it but i just want to make sure that my WGA is causing the problem

I can't see the pic, but if your wastegate is dented, it is most likely malfunctioning and not allowing the wastegate to open properly.

You could be hitting fuel or boost cut I have that same issue right now, minus the dent in the WGA....probably because I am untuned at the moment and waiting on that. Too much boost past 5k.

 

Yeah me too, right after my cam install. Mine came up as Overboost, tried turning down the boost but it still came back on. So I definately need a tune.

nonoo, change that wastegate at some point... Im not promising that is the problem causing the code, but it could lead to a bad problem.
