just got the code today been tuned for a while now and well i was getting on my car hard in 5 th gear no downshirting just testing the 5th gear pull.. is this something i should worry about?? ive never gotten this code in the 3 or 4 months ive been tuned but i also have never gotten on my car as i did today in 5th gear

 

it might be the waste gate if i remember that code correctly... do you have a manual boost controller?

 

Did you ever figure out what the overboost problem was man, and how did you fix it. I just threw this code last night, and found out today it was engine overboost. My car bucks and pops in third and fourth gear pretty hard in mid rpm range.

 

Yea I'm having the same problem any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey i got the car used. the gauges have been taken off. the mods are. intake, exhaust. Perrin MBC. Intercooler and UICP. i am throwing the code p0234. The MBC is connected from the turbo to the WG actuator. But the solenoid is left un plugged. There is no WG mod. Clevis and jam nut in stock position. no gauges. no tune. just a zeitronix z chip.

- Should the solenoid be connected at all?
- what position of the perrin MBC is what boost?
- how to fix this code p0234 besides a tune right now? Take off the mbc and connect stock solenoid onto it is the fix?

what to do?
