Totaled my Altima.. Now I want an EVO

So my brother totaled my Altima one night and now Im interested in buying and Evo. I know a little about Evo's and im intersted in a IX RS. Most of the ones I find are around 25 to 27 thousand online with low mileage. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a cheaper one. I have heard that I could just buy a cheap one with a lot of miles and get the engine rebuilt. Is that worth the time and money? And also where is the place I would find a plentiful amount of Evo's. I live in Atlanta. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Don't let your brother drive it.

The only cheap ones you will find aren't worth having....... the rs was the rarest so you just don't see to many. Consider why you want a RS and then change your mind. High mileage engine isn't the problem, it being hammered on everywhere else.

You can probably get a nicer, non-RS, for less money. Unless it's going to be a dedicated track car, going RS is kinda silly IMO, especially if it's a DD street car.

This is how I feel. And since you decided getting an evo after wrecking your altima, its safe to assume this is going to be for a DD yes ?

Yes i will be using this car for everyday driving. I know the gas mileage sucks but having and Evo has been a dream of mine since I was young. If not an RS what would you suggest?
