clutch question, probably pretty stupid one too...

The stock clutch is FINALLY going out after 80k, and I am not in the best financial spot at the time being and am wondering if a clutch for an 06 5spd will work for my 03 5spd, as I can get a used clutch in my price-range to work FOR THE TIME BEING until I can get my Exedy...

Thanks in advance

same clutch, it will work. just curious though, labor is usually the most expensive part of the job, unless you're doing it yourself. you might want to consider at least buying a NEW clutch plate, and having the flywheel resurfaced (35 dollars at o'reillys). stock clutch plates are pretty cheap... 101 dollars from mitsubishiparts.net, you can also pick up a new pressure plate for 122 dollars, and a new throw out bearing for 43. so for 301 dollars you can have a new clutch assembly and a resurfaced flywheel..... if cost is that much of an issue, just buy the new clutch plate.
