Need Help!

so im having trouble with my evo...i didnt have the hood cover on for paint so i decided to leave the evo outside n today the car wouldnt go passed 2k rpm anyone know whats going on???

Could be a maf problem. I would say to make sure that you you dry all the electrical connections very well first.

USE WD40 spray the maf plug and WD40 kick water out. and it work perfect.. most detailer or mechanic spray wd 40 in mag socket plug to get water out and it work perfect

Need Help!

so my evo 8 doesnt go over 2k rpm because of rain damage and people have been telling me its the mass air flow sensor.? is that the only thing that can be damaged or can it be something else?? plz guys need help asap..

It could be a number of different sensors affected by the water damage. I would recommend the same thing as the other posters. Take it in.

i have not had any sorta specialist come yet but im trying to get someone to come because i cannot drive it like this it wont go pass 2k rpm

What's the code? We can tell you if it is the MAF that needs to be replaced or not but you need to give us more details of your problem.
