Now the outside temp that day was at least 30 degrees hotter and much more humid than the day the numbers above were recorded Car#1 installed the kit as is..car #2 wrapped the pipes with insulation then gold foil...we both LOST whp/tq..Car #1- 284TQ-286whp@22.6 boost..Car #2-244TQ-267whp@17.3boost..Car #1 lost 3% whp-Car #2 lost 1% whp..#1 lost 7%tq-#2 lost6%tq..and I went with the formula of 1% loss for 10 degree increase in ambient air temp which I think is accurate...So, what do those with more experience than I have think about this???
