Which moustache bar eliminator to buy?
AMS moustache bar elim. comes with solid bushings for sides of diff. for $220 & BR has a rear diff support for $275 and can buy solid or urethane bushings for $60-$70. Both save the EVO the same amount of weight. Is one better than the other? Does the AMS one hold the rear diff in place like the BR one?
i love your car so much... i have the ams bar but havent installed it yet, i cant see that there would be any major differences. btw where did you get the voltex bumper? you can pm me
A smart man once posted....
Something to consider when you are comparing the two. Looking at how AMS designed their mustache bar eliminator I think you would HAVE to install the solid aluminum bushings on the side of the differential, if you didn't I think that single mount in the rear would break or work slop into the hole you drill in the subframe. The rear end would rock on the stock rubber bushings and all the stress would be put on that single bolt set up. There's cleans up some room but personally I think the full bar is a better plan of attack.

Our Moustache bar eliminator comes with solid aluminum bushings so we have that covered
Trust me, it wont move!
You cant argue with testing and our moustache bar not only has testing but HARD tesitng behind it. There is no play at all. If so our time attack car that has been running it all season would have had an issue. I challenge you to find a street car that has taken the abuse of our time attack car, our drag car also ran this before we switched to our drag rear diff system.
If there was a weak link in our system we would not of release it, we saw a potential for one and added the solid bushings and now included that in the package.
AMS wont let you down
