MBC only boosting 10-13 psi

I put a hallman mbc on tonight and now it will only boost 10-13 psi. I did it according to the how to and rechecked all the connections. I used the BOV version rather than the Turbo one.
My question is, for the stock line that runs from the BOV to the intake manifold do I need to reuse this line to "T" into or can I use a new line. I thought I read somewhere that the stock line has something special to it. For the current setup I reused the stock line, but may have swiched/flipped the cut pieces when reinstalling.
Now that I am here, can anyone tell me how to fix my current setup or can I use a new hose to connect the intake to the BOV again and then just connect the turbo nipple to the MBC since I have already cut the stock hose that runs from the intake manifold to the BOV.

Thanks a lot, is it safe to drive for a day as is? ( To get me to and from work tomorrow)

don't reuse the stock boost line, stock vac line has what everyone called the PILL, it will restrict you to push higher psi.

stock boost lines have "pills" you need to replace them with some from a hardware store...hope this helps!

You need to run all new lines, the stock one has a restrictor in it! Also, you want to run off the turbo nipple and the wastegate. You dont want the vacume from the manifold going throught the boost controller. So stick with the lines coming off the turbo and wastegate. Next, make sure you cap off the 2 nipples on the boost solenoid under the intake filter on the drivers side. It will look like a square with an electrical plug on the bumper side and then 2 nipples facing the passenger side. Cap off those 2 nipples. Lastly since all thats done. When you turn the boost controller up, it takes quite abit of turning! Dontlisten to the people that say a 1/4 of the inside screw will overboost you car! IT WONT EVEN CHANGE IT! I had to turn mine at least 15 times before it started to change the boost! So once you have all the lines hooked up, start turning it untill it comes up to the boost you want! And then HAPPY BOOSTING! Let me know if you need anymore help! I will be glad to help!

you can T into the line between the FPR and boost gauge. The other lines you'll have to replace just like ^^ he said. Make sure you cap off the unused ones off your intake tube, also cap off the turbo nipple if you're not using that for pressure reference.

Use the one that came with the MBC.Also the hallman mbc takes a few turns before psi adjust. The stock boost lines comes with a restrictor pill in it.

Great thanks guys. So I will use a new line to connect to the turbo.

Now what should I do to reconnect the intake manifold to the BOV. The original line is the one with the pill and is now all cut up. Will it work the same if I make this connection with a new hose or do I need to piece the stock hose back together somehow to make use of the pill?

this is the method i use. it's very easy to follow, and don't use the PILL whatsoever.

The line coming from the intake manifold to the DV does not have the pill in it so you can use any vac line with the same diameter. Its the boost line from your solenoid to the wastegate has the pill.

If this is right then I have no idea why the way I have it hooked up is not working. I have it all connected the exact way that is posted ^^ in the diagram.
