Thanks for all your testing David! I think you did a great job and i don't think it really matter if you were to rev past 8000rpms like Marco mentioned. Bottom line is 90% of people are not going to rev past 8500-9000rpms and i don't think that 500-1000rpms is going to make a huge jump in power. Enough said in my book.

I personally have backed up Magnus for a long time and i have the new design of there intake manifolds but after all this i don't want anything to do with there product. Not at all because of the results of the tests but because of how it was handled on there side. He should of at least posted in a thread to backup his product IMO. If you cant even back up your product it means to me that you know it is bad and personally i would rather not deal with a company like that.

Anyway thanks for everything again and can you give me permission to post on your forums now..lol...

Chris

David-

I <3 you!

How do I pick up one of your ported intakes and 65mm TB's?

I tried to get a hold of Jarrod today to talk to him but you guys must have been busy with all the testing.

You've really convinced me over the last month that you know your ****. You're one of only a handful of people in the world that don't tell people what they want to hear just because you want to be nice. I am learning a very valuable lesson from you and it's this... The more honest you are about things in life, the better off you will be later and your integrity and character can never be questioned.

Keep doing what you're doing and I'll be in touch for some parts soon.

Cheers-
Erich

2k4evo8, shoot me a pm please. Also, regardless of anyone running their car over 8,000 rpm or not, you can look at the dyno graph and see no matter how high you rev'd it the power was not going to all of a sudden, magically start to grow. I mean it lost power the entire RPM range.

wicked e, not sure why you couldn't get through. Sorry. Give us a try again tomorrow please or shoot me a PM with your number and I'll have someone call you.

Thanks for the support fellas.

I can't stress enough on this subject that this is for the EVO8-9 ONLY. It is also ONLY for the old style, non velocity stack intake manifold. To say all of Magnus's products are non performers or anything else would not be fair. This is one product.

For the 100th time....

The first stock manifold and TB NON-PORTED

The second test was the Magnus Ol' school manifold

The third test will be AMS

The fourth test will be the HyperTune

The fifth test will be the ported stock intake manifold with 65mm TB

It's ALL in the 1st post people... You didn't take English class in school because it was cool...

You are incorrect. David used a stock unported intake manifold and stock throttle body.

To quote David from his forum "No, I did not test the modified stock one yet. It will be after this next one we do. Maybe tomorrow."

Just what I thought... I mean I read it... but it was just hard to believe because the stock is that efficient....

My original post before I edited it said stock intake and tb... I swore I read he decided to do the stock stuff first. Oh well, sucks having information in 2 different places...

Was the rest of my post correct for those with reading comprehension issues?
