Very nice! Now im just waiting for the Hypertune and then i can make my decision. The picture i have seen of the DI manifold it looks very nice with great quality. The one thing i am interested in is what you think of the Dual Injector design he uses Dave? He has all the injectors in the flange like stock side by side.

Thanks once again Dave great job!

Chris

Excellent results, I am personally looking forward to the AMS VSR next as I have one, know its working, but the comparison is what I really want to see.

I never really said it but I am extremely appreciative as I know many others are on the no bull**** results you post Dave. I wish there were more vendors such as yourself willing to put yourself in this position, and take the crap that gets dished out. One day I'd like to buy you a beer if we ever get the chance to meet.

David, I'd like to try the DI on one of our cars. Any chance of getting a group buy going? Those results alone make it worth at least a try at the track.

great testing david

do you still monitor backpressure between the cylinder head & turbine housing?

Being that the manifold pressure is being read from a different spot on every intake, i strongly believe in order for boost pressure to be considered the same, it should be read from the same spot... just my 0.02 cents...

a 2nd presure sensor to measure boost in the same spot for every test, i.e. in front of the tb on the uicp, would have taken any questions out of the equation, except of course when a larger tb is installed.

since david observed this:

The boost was also higher hitting 35 psi. I re-adjusted the boost to bring it back down to the baseline test numbers.
makes me wonder.....i dont recall seeing david mentioning he had to crank up the boost with the magnus unit, maybe that is where the extra boost came from......but since this isnt the first time david & crew has performed a test, i am fairly certain they would not have overlooked that mbc detail.

keep up the awesome work

Here, have 2 more, just in case you burn your fingers while working on the car, you can cool your finger tips off with these

30 degrees cooler hence the adjustment back down. I could be totally wrong, but a pressurized intake is a pressurized intake, I would think the differences would be minimal.

^ i thought that was from day 1 to day 2 = oem vs magnus, did the ambient temps drop another 30 for day 3 or am i missing a day...even if the magnus & the di was ran on the same day, ambient temps would have been the same......

Ive never seen that design. The one i have here David has the nice velocity stacks. Made great power with my 42r. Its 2 years old design.
These velocity stacks vs the old ones, im wondering make that much more difference?

Ill test this new Magnus vs a stocker and see what difference we get

So what's up with the AMS VSR results, that's what was said yesterday, was there a change of plans?
