9:1 Compression

My 2.3L comes in monday, its a 9:1 compression motor.

Crower Rods, Weisco Pistons.

What boost are people running with this higher compression on pump gas (93)
and Race (110octane)?

Those are the gases I will be tuning for.

Thank you.

Sorry first post was vague.

I'm running 22 psi with a PT6776R and making over 500 on 93.

On race depending on the octane and how its tuned you should be able to go as high as the upper 30's on 118 for example.

Trying to just raise the boost and lowering timing to keep the engine from detonating is like fighting against your self. So its just a matter of finding a safe level on different octanes for you car. Also taking all the mods into consideration and finding a safe median for power and reliability.

I would let my tuner decide that... i.e. if tuned properly, you'll figure out where your setup is making the most amount of power w/out detonation.
