Something wrong with my clutch
Story is:
I drove perfectly fine to my friends house last night. Right when I get in the car to leave I push the clutch down and the car starts, BUT then the clutch is on the floor with no pressure and i cant get into any gear.
My friend told me my slave cylinder is out so what do i do???

Check all the fittings on the clutch line for leaks. Check the fluid level on the master cylinder, if you did not find any leak and the level is good then try bleeding your clutch. If it does not help then yeah your slave cylinder went out.
correction, if your slave cylinder went out you will have fluid leaking from it. if you don't have any fluid leaking anywhere (from slave or master or the line), your retainer ring for the throw out bearing came apart. unfortunately if that is the case, you need to take the tranny out to fix it.
you can tell if that is the case by looking at the clutch fork visually. if you look at the slave cylinder rod, where it meets the clutch fork, if it is pushed all the way to the passenger side of that hole in the bell housing then your retainer ring came apart. you can take the two bolts holding the slave cylinder in place and move it out of the way slightly, then try pulling the clutch fork forward (to the driver side. if it doesn't click in place then you're in trouble.

I took the slave cylinder off to take my clutch restrictor off but didn't note which side that was facing. Right now it is towards the passenger side and my clutch has no pressure. It'll fall to the floor if I try to bleed it.
Which side is it supposed to be facing normally when the car is off? Can the retainer ring come apart with the car off?
