no love? I have a sinking feeling that something is either already terribly wrong or it's about to go terribly wrong with my car.

Do a boost leak check, and check your throttle body seals.

Yeah doing that on Thursday. It feels like it's almost running on three cylinders, it's shaking bad. I think I'm going to go park it for a couple days until I can check more.

Maybe I lost spark or fuel in one of my cylinders? How could I check the wires for spark and the injectors to make sure one didn't close or fail?

Also, Would any of this be symptematic of one of my Cam gears Skipping a tooth on startup? That's the only other thing I can think of. Since it was warm out that day if one of the skipped a tooth when I started it that may cause all these issues?

Oh and how do I check my IAC valve? Would that cause any of this as well? Thanks guys I appreciate it.

I think it skipped a tooth. I'm going to check timing tomorrow and do a compression and leakdown test. I'll update this with the results then.

Update: Found a sizeable hole in my intercooler. Replacing that on Sunday and then seeing if this is fixed. If not I'm going to look for timing issues. I know all 4 cylinders are firing so I didn't burn up a ring or anything.

Update:

Replaced the intercooler and that helped a bit, but I still have a very rough idle and low vacuum. I still think that one of my cam gears skipped a tooth somehow.

Does anyone know if these symptoms would be common of a skipped tooth?
