i'm buying an ebc no one can change my thoughts i will not buy a mbc but want i need is some opinions so tell me what you guys think about

AVC-R

Looks great, and have heard nothing but excellent things about it. I was going to buy this, but instead bought the Hallman.

i'll give it look over pulling my files...ok like the hks evc 6 too many functions i just want a boost controller i guess...plus i dont really like the display..just my opinion...thanks for the info though..i had forgotten about it

 

The new EVC kicks ***.

I would get it over the AVC-R any day of the week. The last year or so of AVC-R's have been a bit odd imho.

per-RPM boost (EVC / AVCR) is much more powerful than the glorified MBC EBC's like the profec B, AEM, etc

 

Outside of ECU based boost control....the AVC-R is a standalone that has RPM dependent boost control....its pretty crazy.....second best is the Greddy Profec B Spec-II.......

 

I'd go with the HKS EVC
as for the Greddy it's good but it well drive you crazy just to set it up

 

ya set up is nasty with the new profec i got the older type s one lol 3knobs very straight forward, avc-r is complicated but very good. the best i have ever used is the blitz ebc i highly recomend it

 

i've been stuck on the hks evc even with my accounts its still expensive

 

god im having more trouble making up my mind than my wife when she was prego at the drive threw @ burgerking...................i'm going for the hks evc6
