BR Cams-Need Info on these please?

I am really interested in getting these cams for my new setup..

Does any one have the specs on them?

Such as: lift, advertised duration/actual duration, lobe centerline, and LSA?

Also, what cam are they based off of ? I have heard mixed reviews on that subject..

Any idle videos with them??

Please help (: MUCH appreciated!

Thanks

I'd venture to guess that BF272s and JUN 272s are identical or pretty close in specification. To my knowledge no one has put the BFs on a cam doctor and DB has not released info on them. In the absence of hard data, I think your best bet would be to go into it expecting similar characteristics and results of the JUNs... at a more affordable price.

from what i was told by Jarrod, you will have to make sure your valve to piston clearance is good. Also, I've heard their cams are almost identical to JUN 272's.

They are based off the JUN 272 from what i heard. Dave himself mentioned if you have the JUN 272 or Tomei 280 they are pretty close. Would like to hear a video also with these cams. I would think that AL's car would run them but never know.

Thanks for all of the replies (: and Chris. I'm sorry about the whole valve seal thing.. I ordered the right ones today and I'm going to take apart the head again and what not.. Do you have another head gasket OEM or anything for sale?

What do you mean by this?? So the valves might potentially hit the pistons or what?

They make teh powa!

I have debated on doing these on my VIII with an evo green on meth, might be a fun combo. A while back there was a guy that had them running on the stock ECU, he made promises of video footage of them running, idling, etc. Still waiting..... :P

EDIT: here it is: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ighlight=BF272
