You might wanna do a little more searching before you go to Topspeed, I have faith in Doug's knowledge of the AEM, but I personally know of Evo owners here in Ga who will never go back to there shop for work due to issues. Myself I have had no issues with them I have only had dynos done there and a tune by Dynoflash when he came into town. Just a word of caution

dammit man this sucks i think im gunna make the effort into going to efi101 i mean atleast i know i can take alote of time on the car pull after pull instead of somone doing 8 pulls and saying i think its right n will save alote of money as well just a thought i just dont want another blown motor...

itzwolf is awsome on AEM and i think if i bring it to Doug he'll be looking over what he has done befor i get off the dyno if it comes to that....i know wolf had said he wouldnt mined if Doug or David tuned him for the heck of it and learn a few things so i think itll work out

 

man that sucks i kno how that feels i had a tuner who is very well known and normally does great tunes. he was tuning my car and it spun a bearing. we misdiagnosed it as bad valve etc. which was also true so i put on a built head pulled the all nighter to do it and threw a rod the next morning also wrecked the new head live and learn though.

 

I just got off the phone with Rolla from CFT, he is pretty upset with being accused of tuning this car. He was mad at me for calling "him" an idiot. As I explained to him on the phone if he or anyone else takes credit for the map that has been posted I will personally, to their face, say they are an idiot. Rolla has assured me though that he absolutely did NOT make the map that has been posted here and was willing to send me the map he did make. I told him that's not needed I trust him and I don't honestly care.

I do know we had a car here last year with CFT's name on it, blue drag EVO, that ran damn well on the dyno. I don't know who tuned that one but know it had CFT written all over it.

One more thing Rolla doesn't believe in using any type of boost comp, says he NEVER uses it as he doesn't trust it. If that is the case this map that has been posted does have the boost comp working, extremely poorly, but it is set up to do something.

The map sucks, SOMEONE, I don't personally know who, is surely an idiot who made it. Rolla from CFT is saying it is absolutely NOT his map though.

I do not care to be involved with this any further. Bottom line is you need your car fixed and it needs someone to tune it.

 

frankly rolo is trying to save his *** aperently..... itzwolf can back this one up i sat and talked to him and he walked me threw it.... i didnt know how to transfer files i even told him i had to diconnect the fuel pump to get my lab top on the car cause i already had the car in pieces n didnt have time to get the map or do any logs cause i didnt have a labtop till a month later im ****ing pissed he wont even say he tuned my car that is complete bull**** i have the dyno sheet as well i even talked to him on monday after the day i got tuned and said that i melted an electriod and he basically said good luck with the rebuild....

frankly u live and learn id rather not go with the hassle of trying to get CFT to pay for it!!! layer and court cost screw that ill rebuild it and move on im not trying to start a war but just get the word out there who tuned my car and make sure non of my friends EVER go to him i should have know when my buddys Evo 7 blew a rob threw the whole car and seeing blown evo motors all around the shop that should have been the first sign but thats another ****ed up story!!!!

I wonder if someone tried to "improve" the map that he had, and royally screwed up...

now trying to place blame else where...

 

ok that saturday i got tuned i did like 3or 4 pulls then i got home right away had to be at my girlfriends birthday party didnt drive cause i knew i would be drinking then the next morning go out for a drive (excided) thats when it occured so again no way did somone mess with the maps or touch my car i didnt get the maps out of the AEM till just recently itzwolf wanted to see what his maps looked like compared to my stock turbo maps that itzwolf tuned me for....

project rebuild has began today wish me luck will be posting video/pics along with the build and progress hopfully this time itll be right but will be scared ****less to get on her..... stock block and turbo im really going to miss

 

boostgotmelaid, I am just telling you what took place this morning. I don't know if he did tune it, didn't tune it or anything else. I told him I'd put a post up saying he contacted me and told me he didn't tune it. That is all I am doing.

You know the true story, non of the rest of us do.

 

Thanks for chiming in david i know what happend in all that matters i can explain and talk **** but when it still comes down to it i still half to rebuild it ya know this trannys pissing my off!!!
