Another best bang for the buck mod!!!

Just installed the Blox Racing Front engine roll stopper and all I can say is wow!

Shifting engagement is much more smooth, precise and direct. I don't get any more 1st to 2nd grind and the occassional notchiness is no longer present!!! Throttle response seems to pick up a bit as well.. not sure if this is the placebo affect but regardless, im happy with this mod because the part is cheap and the result is great!!!

The only thing..well I don't even think this is a bad thing, is that you do get a slight vibration in the cabin now but its understandable since the movement of the engine is now much more stationary so the vibration is a given. I can live with this.

Overall I give this product a

If you have trouble in shifting and gear engaging, I highly recommend this modification!!

Here is a pic from Speed Element. I got the silver one instead.

Hey, yeah, it's a good mod, but this is like 2 years behind. I did this exact write-up with much more information over 2 years ago.

They start at ~$40 and go up to $100 depending on which type you get. You can get ones that replace the whole bracket or ones that are just the bushing that you insert in place of the old bushing.

i lke how the web link reveals a durometer reading of 90.

does any one know of other makers that specify their durometer reading for their bushings?

i also like the idea of swapping out the mount entirely vs. removing the oem bushing from the mount.

Ok, so I'm having the Notchy shifting also what other mods besides this one can help with that. It is annoying from 1 to second and really bad from 2 to 3rd.

Did you try this mod already? I had the same issue as yours and this mount basically eliminated the notchy shifting of my evo.
Perhaps you should give it a try because its only $75 and it literally only takes about 20min to install.
