I have an Evo9 turbo on an VIII. I'm planning on running about 375-400hp. Can the stock evo 9 wastegate be able to hold that much or would I have to upgrade to the forge? I will be running a snow performance 2 meth system w/ cams, cam gears, ported exhaust manifold, invidia o2housing, reflash and so on.

Any info would be appreciated.

forge or fp for sure. with the boost levels you will likely be running the boost will spike and quickly taper off. an upgraded unit will hold much more boost to redline. i personally experienced 4 psi more (30-22 before, 30-26 after). i have a fp for sale cheap if you want one.

 

how much and what brand is it?
