Mileage is a decent indicator of bore condition but is by no means the final variable. Measure, measure, measure to make sure that the cylinder has no distortion or wear, and set piston to wall clearance according to the piston manufacturer's specs. If any clearance is too wide for spec, it needs to be bored out.

I had worn rings and bore was still within spec, i thought of doing drop ins however the more i thought about it the more i thought stuff it, if im pulling the motor I'll do a 85.5 and refresh everything, I'm still glad I did.

Dude most likely with that mileage you should have no need to bore out for oversized pistons , if ANYTHING maybe a light hone for a nice crosshatch pattern for the new rings.
