evo 8 engine problems

i was haulin *** on the loop today and my service engine light went on and after that when im in 5th gear my rpms wont go past 3k and it bogs down and i have my foot all the way down on the gas pedal and it wont pick up so then i took it to autozone so they can scan it with the obd2 scanner and the only code it pulled up was, multiple cylinder misfire which could be a spark plug, so does anyone know wat else it could be?
thanks

P0300 code is normal, especially on 03/04 models. I get the same code every other day. Its no big deal.

Replace your plugs? Its not that big of a deal or a huge cost, $6 for the copper NGKs.

And as bluebyu36 said, an intercooler pipe could have blown off, but I dont see how you could have gotten to autozone if that happened. lol...

i dont think it would be a pipe if he was still driving the car, sounds like it just went into limp mode

unplug all wires to the coil packes then re-seat them back properly. Check all your injector harnesses and ensure that they are firing. You could be running out of fuel if one of the injectors is not firing sufficently.
