Good 12v Keyed Power Source for WB ?
Where is a good place to splice in for a 12v keyed power source for a wide band ?
I found a power source but it seems to run to my o2 sensor. Is that not a good idea to splice into or what ?

There are a lot of power sources in the drivers kick panel. I would get an ignition or accessory source from there. You could also tap the cigarette lighter. I have heard of a lot of interference from using the radio harness.
Remove center shift console. You will see a connector that connects to the cigarette lighter.
On the cigarette lighter connector, you will see a red & black wire. Follow those wires into the opposite end of the connector, and I believe it turns from red to yellow. Anyhow, tap those 12v/ground wires.
Thats what I used for my Innovate LC-1.

You can hook it up to anything that you can't use while the cars off...
windshield wiper, cig light, radio etc etc etc
I like getting the make-a-fuse-tap from autozone, pep boys etc It plugs in place of the current fuse and has a wire extension for you to hook up stuff like the wideband.
This is basically it.... You can find it anywhere...

What do you guys like to use to join many wires together?
I just put ring connectors on and find a small nut and bolt to put them together and wrap with a bit of electrical tape. BTW I use the cigarette lighter for power to most of my in car accessories.

Electrical tape and twisted wires will not hold up to the rigors of an automotive application (at least not reliably for the long haul). I recommend the solder and shrink wrap method if OEM connectors are not available. It takes a little more time to do things right but it's worth it in the long run. Alot of people like crimp style connectors but the crimps can loosen over time and vibration. I use some crimp style rings and connectors on occaision but I solder them so they will always have good connection.
