We need to have the connections sorted for the factory clutch interphase which may take a week or so then we will have pictures of the entire kit.
I'm not trying to start a war with anyone, just mearly showing that this device is not legal in NHRA/NDRA Pro classes. It's probably not allowed in sportsman although not specificly mentioned. We had a similar prototype one of these on the drag car a few years ago. We took it off due to the fact that it wasen't legal to run in the class and the fact that I actually know how to launch our car without the aid of it.
Here are the words directly from the NHRA rulebook.
Clutch must be manually operated by driver's foot: Electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, or any other device may in no way affect the clutch system.
Certainly not taking anything away from you for designing it, implimenting it, and putting it into production. Its not an easy setup to get right, much less package and build. I'm sure it will help alot of people out and I hope everyone who picks one up can benefit from it.

I am trying to grok the concept in relation to Top fuel experience and what was in the factory setup.
You are adding a clutch restrictor pill (basically) back in to offer consistent launches? Akin to how you set up a Pro car or Fuel cars clutch (though they use weights) for engineered slip. Okay so it works and I know that on those level of cars. They are also channeling alot more power thru 2 less wheels.
I am wondering why not use a staging brake and then feather the clutch?
I am asking this from a tech standpoint. I am not discrediting this, jus curious about the other alternatives and why this one was chosen?

Ive been reading and thinking about this Aron and wondering the exact same thing.
This is not a answer to the post above. Putting a new product out like this i believe warrants a technical response

my question is, how does it compensate for the freeplay area from the floor to the point of clutch engagement? When youre at the line you don't launch with the clutch pedal mashed to the floor, you find the area of grab and you launch from an area just below the point of grab. Not bashing, I love the concept!
